FORTUNA is a family establishment that produces a boutique line of olives, olive oil and natural byproducts from their own olives, grown without using hormone, gene modifiers, chemical fertilizers or agricultural insecticides which are harmful to human health and ecological system. Production is made by using traditional methods as well as self developed ecological system. FORTUNA brand name is the guarantee of tradition, respect to ecological balances, advanced technology, hygienic conditions and naturalness.

Our family, who owns the olive oil mills and the oldest antique olive oil trademark stamp everknown since ancient times, now continues the family tradition under FORTUNA trademark. This stamp has been used since 170 BC at Aydın-Çine -Ancınvillage antique olive oil mill; later Mustafa Ağa Mansion and olive oil mill in 1327 at the same village; then in 1720's at Değirmendere, Turkey's first water powered olive oil mill. The stamp which has been used on olive oil amphoras since 170 BC till 1960's, bares the sign "THEOS EVDEMOS" that means "3. DOMINANT GOD OF GOOD HEALTH".

Finally in 2004, FORTUNA by bringing together the traditional techniques and methods with their own modern technological developments, has established Turkey's first ecological system oil mill in Izmir-Urla-Kekliktepe; where olive oil is produced from depitted pulps, without adding water, at its natural heat.

FORTUNA exclusive olive oil, compared olive oils produced with the other methods available today, has better chemical and aromatic features ,organoleptic quality and ramsimate; and less acid and peroxide.

We separate all leaves during selection,washing and pitting stages.Therefore our olive oil does not get rancid caused by chlorophyll.

Our production technology avoids the negative effects of water and heat on polyphenols,tenolic substances that act as antioxidants and most importantly vitamins A, D, K and E.
